9/2/06: Been thinking a lot about my grandma and grandpa.

Trying to draw Bethlehem wedding clothes.
Sido (My grandpa). He was quite sickly.
Trying to draw Teta and Sido how they looked when married. Very difficult when you have no photos.

8/22/06: In the beginning... there were scribbles.
These are just notes and observations. It's still too early to pull out all the stops yet. Hopefully, these will be at least interesting and give you an idea as to what sort of direction I'll be taking this.

The image that started it all. In a traditional Ramallah dress.
How to roll a dolma.
Observations at a Hakim concert.
Practicing kaffiyehs/sashes. Detailed mofos.
My grandmother (Teta) and my cousin, how I remember them as a kid.
Le sigh. Me, as a kid. Total blackmail material.
Practicing drawing styles. And Auntie Nadia.
