Dear lovely readers,

I’ve done and got an unfortunate case of the flu. It is leaving me with zero ability at all to lift up a pen and draw things (I’m, frankly, only able to type because I have a laptop and it’s balanced on my in such a way that I don’t have to move my arms…). That said, please enjoy this one-off I did back in ole’ 2007. The dialogue really was from Craigslist missed connections!

I’m gonna pull a Little Toaster That Could and do the best I can to be coherent and OK USA for Wednesday’s strip.

Here’s a comic I drew back in ’07 for a comic anthology about the Craigslist “missed connection” section of the site. It didn’t make it in, as it was deemed “too weird.” I’m quite confident that anyone who has checked out that site knows how weird it can get. Case in point: I didn’t make this dialogue up.
