in December 5th, 2011 @ 22:00True, Amano was a big influence on me and made me want to draw too. Unfortunately, it was Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman) and it was, like, a really long time ago.

in December 6th, 2011 @ 12:20Yeah, I didn’t know until much, much later that he did the designs for Gatchaman and Vampire Hunter D. I was exposed to those before the Final Fantasy series, but FF4 was the first instance in which I knew him by name and consciously studied his work.
Rock on, Marlon, I didn’t know you were influenced by him!
