On Nov 19th, I'll be co-hosting another MoCCA event. Our guest will be Leela Corman, a fantastic comic artist, illustrator and bellydancer. More info on the event here.

A Brooklyn-based artist, Marguerite Dabaie was raised in San Francisco before moving to the East Coast to attend the School of VIsual Arts in Manhattan. She graduated in 2007 with honors and decided to stay in NYC.

While in school, she received two grants to publish her ongoing work, The Hookah Girl and Other True Stories.

She is now a freelance illustrator and comic artist while happily working at The Morgan Library & Museum. She also is co-chair of The Cartoonists' Roundtable, which is held at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in Manhattan.

As you can see, I am clearly not disturbing in any way.
